Pastor Bob became senior pastor at Kailua Church in July 2006. Prior to his return to the Islands he pastored the Living Hope Church of the Nazarene for 9 years in Thousand Oaks, CA. Pastor Bob and his wife Jude, first moved to the Islands in 1980 where he served as a youth pastor at the Kaneohe Church of the Nazarene, before being appointed to start the Paradise Park Church of the Nazarene on the Big Island. While in Paradise Park, he oversaw the construction and completion of the Church Sanctuary. In 1988 Pastor Bob and his family moved to Maui where he pastored the Kahului Church of the Nazarene for 7 years.
Bob graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho and has a Master's of Religious Education Degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. It was while he was at Seminary that he met and fell in love with Jude Foerstel, a nursing student at Kansas University. They were married in 1977. Bob and Jude have 3 children: Daniel, Bryan and Greg. Jude has earned a doctorate from
USC and is presently a professor of Nursing at the University of Hawaii.

Anne is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and has served on staff as an Associate Pastor at the Kailua Church for 7 years. Anne has a masters degree in Counseling.
Anne was born and raised outside Kansas City, Kansas and came to Hawaii in 1994. She presently directs our Women's Recovery Group, leads various Bible studies and is available for family counseling.
Anne is a mother of two boys who reside in Arkansas.

Tracy Ray is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. He came on staff at Kailua Church in 2009 and is serving as a teacher, discipler and small group leader.

Jake Heaton is a licensed pastor in the Church of the Nazarene and joined the Kailua Church of the Nazarene staff in November 2009 to serve as Pastor to Youth and Young Adults. He comes to us from Port Orange, Florida where he served as Pastor to Youth and Families in the Port Orange Church of the Nazarene. He is a graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in May 2009 with a degree in Religion and Philosophy. He loves to hike, run, swim, the ocean, Basketball, the Indianapolis Colts, play video games, hangout and serve teenagers and their familes, as well as young adults but most importantly Jesus Christ and His love for us.
